Lauren began the Zinkquisitive Lab at the University of Lethbridge in July 2026 after completing a postdoctoral fellowhsip at the University of British Columbia, with a visiting fellowship to the University of Salford in the UK.

Jayden Herman
MSc Student (2026 – present)
Jayden completed his Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Health Science-Biology at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, with Honours and is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National Athletic Honors Society. Jayden joins the University of Lethbridge as a Master’s student under the supervision of Dr. Lauren Zink and Dr. Steve Wiseman to investigate how dissolved organic carbon influences fish olfaction.
